Condor Airlines (DE) Flights
Established in 1955, Condor Airlines (DE) is a German airline headquartered in NeuIsenburg, Hesse with Frankfurt Airport serving as its main base. The airline is particularly renowned for offering flights to leading holiday destinations around the world. Especially around the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
Though it was a subsidiary of Lufthansa in its earlier phase, the airline later functioned as a part of Thomas Cook Group and was then transitioned to different ownerships. In recent times the airline has gained popularity for its distinctive striped livery introduced in 2021.
Condor Airlines offers four cabin categories. These include Business Class, Premium Economy Class, Economy Class, and Economy Light Fare also known as “Best Fare”. Whichever category you choose to fly from you are assured of a comfortable and hassle-free journey.
However, as expected traveling in business class guarantees optimum comfort as it is designed for travelers who want to fly in luxury. Lie-flat seats that can also double up as beds, a separate, peaceful cabin for privacy, a large screen, diverse menu are some of the USPs of Condor Airlines Business Class. Premium Economy section offers more comfort and perks than the Economy section which is designed for budget-conscious travelers. Condor Airlines also offers Economy Light Fare known as “Best Fare” which is similar to economy class but with fewer amenities.
Each passenger at Condor Airlines is allowed to bring a carry-on bag. However, the size and weight depend on the fare category. For example, those flying in economy class are allowed to carry an optimum weight of 17.6 lbs while those traveling in premium economy can carry an optimum weight of 22 lbs. Those traveling in business class are allowed 2 pieces of carry-on luggage. The optimum weight they can carry is 26.4 lbs.
It would also not be out of place to mention here that Condor Airlines allows travelers to even carry baggage like sports or musical equipment. Though it requires booking in advance as well as additional charges. If you are carrying an infant (under 2 years) then you are allowed to carry one extra checked baggage item weighing less than 22 lbs. You can also carry a stroller for free.
Condor Airlines offers an online check-in facility for the convenience of the travelers. One can check in online through Condor Airline’s flight or app. For most of the flights, online check-in is available 24 hours to 2 hours before their departure.
One can also select seat online by paying seat selection fees which would be levied depending on the fare class and the seat type. Those who do not select the seats would have to do with whatever would be assigned to them by the airline. You can also download a mobile boarding pass which can be scanned at the gate after checking in.
