Japan Airlines (JL) Flights
Japan Airlines (JL) is the flag carrier of Japan and is also the country’s largest airline company. It has its head office at Shinagawa in Tokyo and has its primary hubs at Narita and Haneda airports in Tokyo. It also has secondary hub at Itami and Kansai airports in Osaka. The airline flies to more than 60 domestic and 39 international destinations including those in USA. It operates flights to and from about 10 US cities, such as New York, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Honolulu, Kona, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Los Angeles. Baggage Policy
Japan Airlines provides free carry on and check in baggage allowance for domestic and international flights. It allows you to bring 1 carry on bag of max weight 10 kg and linear dimensions 115 cm per passenger. The check in baggage is free for passengers depending on the class of travel. There is a minimum 20 kg free check in baggage allowance for domestic routes on economy tickets and it can increase up to 45 kg for the First Class passengers.
For the international flights, the check in baggage allowance is 2 bags of up to 23 kg each for the economy and premium economy cabin classes and 3 bags of 32 kg each for the Business and the First class passengers.
